Approach
  • Create an independent eSafety Observatory that
    monitor and encourage eSafety Forum progress and
    support the implementation of its recommendations
  • Easily accessible and up-to-date resource for
    information on the priority eSafety topics
  • Support to all stakeholders of the eSafety
    community and promotion of networking

  • Conclusions/recommendations
  • eScope should help to collect and analyse outcome
    and define new targets and new dissemination
    messages.
  • The 28 recommendations should be monitored on the
    website and the status and commitment should be
    evaluated. National activities should be better
    monitored.
  • It will not be the role of eScope to give scores
    to the effort of the different stakeholders but
    only to point out good efforts and lacking
    efforts within the priority areas.
  • Obstacles should be observed by eScope and
    measures to overcome obstacles should be
    proposed.
