Challenges / looking ahead

• Continued drive to expand the membership China,
  Korea, Japan...
• Increase the dialogue with the maritime
  authorities in China (MSA) at central,
  provisional and local levels
• Continue to enage other maritime authorities on
  key issues
• Continue to press for better safety/security of
  navigation in the Straits of Malacca/Singapore
• Engage members in the activities of the
  Association
