A. Introduction
Background
In a Higher Educational Institution, the
system manager overlooks the facilities and
resources of the computer labs. In general, the
setup ,the facilities and software are different
in different labs. The system manager decided to
employ a lab recourses management system for
better management of resources.
This report will provide information about the
structure, function and processes description,
data flows, and the data structure of the system.
These information will be presented by the
following tools

Data Flow Diagram (DFD) shows how data moves
through the Lab Resources Management System. This
provides a logical model, which shows what the
system does and how the data will flows.
Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) is a
graphical model of the information system that
shows the relationships among system entities.
Data Dictionary is a key document about the
data details. It provides all data elements
used in the Lab Recourses Management System, and
the data about these system data will be all
described here.
