  • What is HotFoam?
  • HotFoam was developed by SKUM in order to
    present to the market an innovation more
    effective, yet less costly both in terms of
    hardware and installation. Two factors greatly
    contributed to this new development 
  • A unique new foam concentrate
  • A new foam generator
  • This system is designed to operate on different
    principles than the conventional Hi-Ex systems
    available up to now. The foam generators are
    located inside the protected space, using the air
    and smoke from the fire itself to generate foam
    bubbles. The principle of this new system using
    the inside air for foam generation offers a
    flexibility and effectivness often required in
    warehouse protection.
  • The principal of using the inside air for foam
    generation has also made the HotFoam system
    successful in applications as e.g. marine machine
    room protection and cable tunnels. In fact the
    HotFoam system holds type approvals from all
    major marine classification bodies.
