Background Information
  • For our experiment we are going find the relative
humidity and temperature at different elevations
up to 1,000 ft using a lab pro
  • We want to see if there is a relationship between
    the two.

4
Hypothesis
  • Our hypothesis is that as the altitude of the
balloon increases the temperature will stay the
same but the relative humidity will decrease

5
Tests
  • For our dry tests we tested the relative humidity
around the room. We found that the humidity did
    not vary drastically
  • For our actual balloon launch we tested the
temperature and relative humidity up to 1,000 ft.

Conclusion
  • After completing our experiment we found that our
    hypothesis was incorrect.
  • The relative humidity of the air increased as the
    altitude increased also.
  • Our dry tests were inconclusive because we did
    not increase in altitude.
  • As the temperature decreased, the humidity
    increased.
