OBJECTIVES OF THE EXCAVATION
  • To create a detailed map of site which would
    include all the features, post holes and spatial
    distribution of activities at the site.
  • Run subsurface tests to gather artifacts and
    analyze profiles in order to determine the
    functions of the features.

SURFACE SURVEYING
  • Systematic way of surveying surfacegridding the
    surface to establish horizontal provenience.
  • Gridding system makes it easier to locate the
    location of finds.
