Summary
Delivering a safe, reliable, and secure
transportation system requires

we need to do today to deliver 21st century
operations. Managing for Performance
Advancing the State-of-the-Practice
Communicating/Educating/Advocating SAFETEA
presents the opportunity to significantly advance
the consideration of Operations. FHWA and
the National Transportation Operations Coalition
are working together as champions to build a
21st century operations culture.
