Double click this icon
Enter username, password, then click OK

This window shows dates where missing attendance
exists. Click ltDonegt after reviewing list, or
click ltExportgt to save data as a text file.

If logging in outside of class hours, this window
will appear. Click ltSelect Othergt
Select desired class period from list, then click
ltOKgt

To access any attendance window, go to Classroom
menu -gt Attendance -gt select the desired
attendance window from the submenu.

How To Take Attendance in Roster Window
  • 1. Roster
  • Click ltCommitgt and save to mark all students
    present.
  • To mark an absence, there are two methods
  • Click on a student name to cycle through the
    absence codes, or
  • Click on the absence square, then drag and drop
    it onto the student name.
  • Click ltCommitgt and save.

Click here to select another class/period.

Change Date
  • Click ltChange Dategt to process attendance for a
    different date.
  • Select date from Date Picker window.

Change Class
Click here to select another class/period from
the list.

Printing Roster
Click ltRostergt to print a blank class roster.

Customizing Your Roster
1. Select current attendance month or different
month.
3. Select sort order.
2. Select type of roster.
4. Select to show or hide lunch number.

Click the printer icon to print.

Click on a cell will default present code for
entire class. To mark an absence, click on a
student name to cycle through absence codes.
Click ltCommitgt and save.

To mark an absence, right click (on PC) or
Ctrl-click (on Mac) to select the absence code
from the legend window.
Click here to change class or month.

Click ltReportgt icon to print the Class Attendance
Report.

  • Click ltCommitgt and save to mark all students
    present.

Seat Arrangement
1) To arrange seats for Seat Attendance window,
open Classroom menu -gt Seat Mgmt -gt Room Seat
Arrangement
2) Select the class/period then click ltOKgt

3) Add seats to the room or return extra seats to
the Seat Bank using drag-and-drop method.
4) Click ltCommitgt and save.
Tips Reserve a few extra seats for future new
enrollees.

Seat Assignment
Do Seat Arrangement prior to Seat Assignment.
  • Build the list by selecting
  • All students for this room/period, or
  • Single class only.

Click here to fill seats or drag and drop names
to seats.
Click here to sort names alphabetically
(Optional).
Click ltCommitgt and save.
Note If your class is large, use the Roster
Attendance window.

Student Viewer Window
Type at least two characters of the student name,
then press Enter. Or type then press Enter
to build list of student names.
Select a student name to display his/her
demographics. Click on Additional Student Data
menu for more windows

CELDT Scores
This window displays the most recent CELDT
assessments of the selected student.

Language Proficiency
Click ltNew Recordgt button to add a proficiency
and test date, then click ltCommitgt and save.
This window is accessible from the Additional
Student Data menu or the K-5 Report Card windows
Edit LP button.

APPEL (Academic Performance Profile for English
Learners)MS and HS only
Click ltNew Recordgt to add a goal designation
record.
Click ltCommitgt to save.

ELL Scores
This window displays ELL proficiency and dates.
Click printer icon to print report.

Open K-5 Report Card Window
1) Type name of student. Press Enter.
2) Click on K-5 Report Card.

select his/her name from list.

On a Mac, press Control key and click mouse to
expand all categories. On a PC, right click.

Select Standards from Legend Box
Mac User Press Control key and click on the DASH
- to auto-fill all standards in the
cluster. PC User Right click.
Click Commit button to save.
To override standard marked N/A, right click on
mouse to see the list of available options.

Type your grade password then click ltOKgt. Call
NCS Help Desk at x1111 for password questions.
Please note that grade password is case sensitive.

Open Teacher Comments Edit Language Proficiency
Windows
Click here to open the Teacher Comments window.
Click here to open the Language Proficiency
window.
This section is located at the bottom of the
Report Card window.

3. Select to hide or show dropped students.
1. Select to include or exclude tardy.
2. Select semester or Year to Date summary.
4. If Hide dropped is selected, enter an as of
date to hide dropped students from.
Defaulted date is todays date. Click ltOKgt

Missing Attendance
Enter an As of Date to run the absence report,
then click ltOKgt The defaulted As of Date is
todays date.

  • Highlight the line from the list.
  • Click ltOKgt to open the roster attendance window
    for that date.
  • Note The list is blank when no missing
    attendance exists.

Select mark from the drop list. Press Tab key to
Citizenship, Work Habits, and Coded Comments drop
lists.

2. Type your old password then new password.
3. Press the Tab key, then click ltChange

Submitting Grade Change Request (MS/HS)
1) Type name of student then press Enter.
2) Open Student Grade window.
Note Submitting grade change requests is
necessary only when the Class Grades window is
locked.
