  • Behavioral Objectives specify what behavior a
    student must demonstrate or perform in order for
    a teacher to infer that learning took place.

Behavioral Objectives
  • A Behavioral Objective is the focal point of a
    lesson plan. It is a description of an intended
    learning outcome and is the basis for the rest of
    the lesson. It provides criteria for
    constructing an assessment for the lesson, as
    well as the instructional procedures the teacher
    designs to implement the lesson.

Performance Statement
  • The statement of an observable behavior, or
    performance, on the part of the learner.
  • An outcome usually is stated as a verb, e.g.
    name, match compute, list, classify...

  • A description of the conditions under which the
    learner behavior or performance is to occur.
