It looks ugly and spoils Cornwall
It costs Cornwall 5 Million to clean up all the
litter every year
It can make a place look Rough and make people
frightened.

Litter attracts more litter

Rubbish How long will it last
Plastic bottles can last indefinitely
Aluminium drinks cans may last about 80 to 100
years as can nappies.
Supermarket plastic bags can last between 10 and
20 years.
Cigarette butts, along with orange peel, banana
skins and apple cores can last up to two years.

Chewing gum a sticky problem
Chewing gum may for 5 years if stuck to a
pavement, and it will soften and get sticky
every time it is sunny
It costs the UK 150 Million to clean Chewing
gum off the streets every year

If you still arent convinced!
Dropping litter is a criminal offence, You could
get fined and if you dont pay the fine you
could get a Criminal Record
