Evaluation in Viet Nam

• The mandatory project evaluations meant 35
  evaluations in Viet Nam over the last 5 years.
• Project evaluations no longer mandatory they are
  voluntary
• CO will evaluate a limited number of outcomes per
  CCF cycle (for Viet Nam 6)
• For Viet Nam 2001-2005 CCF 4 outcome evaluations
  mandatory to plan
• Track evaluation recommendations and actions
  based on findings - and learn from them to
  improve programming

• CO Management sets the framework for managing for
  results
• Advocacy and partnership development
• Active leadership in the annual review and
  process leading to the ROAR

manager
