On Fire Facts!!

• In the book Pink Say were fighting in the
  Civil War. I learned that the Marauders are the
  people from both teams that come and steal things
  from dead soldiers on the battle field and from
  live innocent people.

Famous Leaders

• In the Union there was Abraham Lincoln. He was
  against slavery and he wanted the war to end.
  When we think of Abraham now we think of the
  president on the penny but he was more than that.
  He was a brave honorable man during the period
  that he lived.

Weapons Mania

• They used muskets that shot big led musket balls
  out they made a lot of noise. A first the 48th
  company didnt get to carry a musket they had to
  fight with sticks, hammers, sledges. Soon they
  finally got to carry muskets but they were from
  the Mexican American war instead and they didnt
  work at all.

Unbearable Battles

• In Pink Say Patricia Polacco didnt state a
  specific battle of the Civil War that they took
  part in. So there for there are no battles to
  tell about.

The Opinion of a Girl

• To me this book is a heart warming story about
  the Civil War and 2 boys friendship even when
  they are separated from each other. I think that
  everyone should read this great book. What I
  disliked about this book is that Moe Moe Bay was
  killed by the marauders and Pink Say were left
  alone. The book didnt tell about where the story
  took place exactly and I would like to learn
  about where it took place. I know that it was the
  war between the states (Civil War.) I learned
  that the war was about slavery and becoming 1
  united nation again.
