Awareness of a Avalanches

• ?People and climbers scramble up and down slops
  to conquer the peaks. The people needed to
  scramble to get to safety. Each year avalanches
  kill more than 150 people all over the world.
  Every time an avalanche falls it leaves trees
  ripped out of the ground and creates a long
  suffocating cloud of dust called the White
  Death.?

Caught in an Avalanche
?People get caught in an avalanches are mostly
males. 89 of men get killed each year in an
avalanche. All of the men were between 31 and
younger. ? Climbers need and want a better
challenge each time they climb a mountain,
mountains get easier every time climbers climb
them.

Where Avalanches Occur

• Avalanches occur on a large snowy mountain where
  climbers go for a challenge. Avalanches need a
  eco, a sound wave ,people snowboarding down a
  hill. Now in the next slide this will show you
  what happens when a sound or weight pressure
  causes an avalanche.

Facts of the Speed of an avalanche

• ?Avalanches travel up 200miles per hour.
• ?They can make a lot of damage to homes.
• ?They can all so kill people and destroy homes.

The Temperature of Avalanches

• Snow is a good insulator so very little
  temperature changes dont have an effect on snow
  pack. Temperature can get warmer and melt the
  snow causing a massive avalanche.
