A little sleep, a little slumber, a little
folding of the hands to rest and poverty will
come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an
armed man. Prov 2430-34
I went past the field of the sluggard, past the
vineyard of the man who lacks judgment thorns
had come up everywhere, the ground was covered
with weeds, and the stone wall was in ruins.
Prov 105 He who gathers crops in summer is a
wise son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a
disgraceful son.
Prov 134 The sluggard craves and gets nothing,
but the desires of the diligent are fully
satisfied.
Prov 189 One who is slack in his work is
brother to one who destroys.
I applied my heart to what I observed and
learned a lesson from what I saw
Prov 2819 He who works his land will have
abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies
will have his fill of poverty.

2 Peter 318 - grow in the grace and knowledge
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 22-3 - Like newborn babies, crave pure
spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in
your salvation,
Eph 415-16 - we will in all things grow
up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.
From him the whole body, joined and held together
by every supporting ligament, grows and builds
itself up in love, as each part does its work

Be a lot wiser
Be much more mature spiritually

Contribute more to edifying building up the
congregation

Be respected as a strong, involved, trustworthy
Christian
Meet a person whom God knows can help complete
me as His servant
Great goals! But wanting them isnt the same
as achieving them.
