What is a Kingdom Building Church?
A reproducing community of disciples living
authentic lives as ambassadors for Christ,
proclaiming the gospel and transforming their
world.

1. A Kingdom Building Church sees
missions as the ESSENCE of its EXISTENCE.
Acts 18 (NIV) You will receive power when
the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my
witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

2. A Kingdom Building Church does not
have a PROGRAM for missions they PARTICIPATE in
missions.
Acts 1119-30 reveals six ways they participated
in missions.

3. A Kingdom Building Church is not satisfied
to SEND SUPPORT they emphasize BEING DOING.
Acts 131-3 (NIV) In the church at Antioch
there were prophets and teachers Barnabas,
Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen
(who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch)
and Saul. While they were worshiping the Lord and
fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for me
Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have
called them." So after they had fasted and
prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent
them off.

4. A Kingdom Building Church is not content to
MAINTAIN they must MULTIPLY.
Acts 1421-23 (NIV) They preached the good
news in that city and won a large number of
disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium
and Antioch, strengthening the disciples and
encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We
must go through many hardships to enter the
kingdom of God," they said. Paul and Barnabas
appointed elders for them in each church and,
with prayer and fasting, committed them to the
Lord, in whom they had put their trust.

Financial Needs
Often, church plants have significant start-up
costs and ongoing expenses. Through monthly or
one-time gifts, individuals and churches can
provide valuable funding streams. Business
leaders can help provide jobs for planters, their
families, and team members.

4th Way Providing Materials and Equipment

• Many churches can assist new churches by
  providing quality equipment like sound systems,
• computers, and office equipment.
• Get your entire church involved with a Baby
  Shower for the church nursery or reuse of
  Vacation Bible School materials and props.

• Provide worship or office space for a new church
  in your current facility.
• Open up homes for Bible studies and fellowship
  events.
• Businesses can provide space for meetings and
  offices.

assist the church planting team on a mission trip
in a day, weekend, weeklong setting.
Community surveys, block parties, backyard
