  the touch

Dionysuss Birth Story

• Born from Zeus and Persephone
• The titans, fearful of losing power, lured him
  away, dismembered and ate him
• Love potion made from heart that was rescued by
  Athena
• Potion drank by Semele, who forced Zeus to reveal
  himself in his primal form, which was so
  overwhelming she was burnt to a crisp
• The child (Dionysus) was saved and grew up in
  Thrace
