What is a JCTD?

• JCTDs ARE

  concept solutions that fill gaps in warfighting
  capability
• Driven by COCOM Needs - Joint Warfighter is the
  customer
• Focused on JOINT needs and gaps
• Quicker than normal acquisition process
• Means to take advantage of technology
  advancements before adversaries can adapt
• RD funded - Forward Funded by OSD
• ARE NOT
