• May 7, 1919 Born Eva María Ibarguren Duarte as
  fifth illegitimate child between lower class
  mother and middle class father
• 1920 Father leaves family
• 1926 Father dies
• 1934 Eva goes to Buenos Aires, career in radio
  and acting
• 1944 Eva meets 48 year old Juan Perón
• 1944 Eva becomes president of Union for
  broadcast performers, begins to advocate Peróns
  case.
• 1945 Perón briefly under arrest because he was
  popular with the lower classes
• 1945 Wedding
• 1946 Perón elected President
• 1947 Rainbow Tour (European leaders)
• 1951 Bid to be elected vice-president, "Cabildo
  Abierto, last public appearance
• 1952 Perón reelected
• July 26, 1952 Eva dies of cervical cancer, body
  hidden in Italy after Perón had to flee
  Argentina, returned once Perón was back in
  Argentina (1976)
