  wondering? One of them is St. Vivaldus, third
  order Franciscan who ministered to lepers.

What Does it Mean for SPX?

• On Tuesday, May 11th a group of adults will be
  here to tour our school.
• They are coming to evaluate how we are improving
  as a school.
• Most of what is measured is student performance
  or how you as students are improving in your
  school work.
• They will be evaluating how we (as a learning
  community) are helping you improve in your school
  work.

About our Goals

• We have three school-wide goals.
• This means in every grade and in every subject
  we can work to improve in these areas.

Math ? Language Arts ? Catholic Identity

• Students will improve in their writing across the
  curriculum.
• Students will increase in their knowledge and
  application of geometry and measurement.
• Students will increase respectful behavior (of
  self, others, and property)

• Interviews with recent SPX graduates
• Interviews with Math and English Department
  Chairs from high schools (Bishop Chatard,
  Cathedral, Brebeuf Jesuit and North Central)

• Responses on student surveys

How can YOU help on May 11th?
Adults will be touring our building please be
courteous by

• Answering questions honestly and respectfully
• Keeping our building especially clean that day
  (picking up trash without being asked!)
• Not just on May 11th, but everyday, challenge
  yourself to continually improve and always do
  your best!
