Background
  • The idea of creating a world council dealing
    exclusively with civil engineering issues was
    born out of the European Council of Civil
    Engineers (ECCE) created in 1985
  • Established through ECCE in Istambul in November
    2005
  • The World Council of Civil Engineers (WCCE) was
    founded in July 2006

What is the WCCE
  • WCCE facilitates a global platform where all
    members are equal, capable of addressing specific
    problems typical of the civil engineering fields
  • WCCE is open to all existing organizations
    involved directly or indirectly in civil
    engineering and construction business
  • WCCEs core values

  • Actions against corruption
  • WCCE will foster the free exchange and transfer
