Progression targets
  • To increase the number of pupils who make 2
levels of progress in the Key Stage
  • All children/all schools
  • 4 minimum increase in those children making 2
    levels of progress
  • SDA/SIP will support with setting the targets

12
Progression premium
  • Payable to schools in the pilot which make
    excellent progress
  • Per pupil, per subject, for each additional child
that makes 2 levels of progress within the Key
    Stage
  • Approx. 500 per child
  • Could be used to further enrich the school
    curriculum

13
Additional for Essex
  • HORIZONS package
  • Facilitators
  • Half termly pilot lead meetings
  • Termly cross phase meetings

14
  • Many children who do well at one stage of their
education slow down or stall at the next stage. I
want a relentless focus on the progress of each
individual maximising the chances for every
child to learn, achieve, and fulfil their
potential. New approaches to assessment will help
parents, pupils and teachers to track progress
better, so that no child gets left behind.
