THE NEW PRIESTLY SERVICE

• Verses 1-6
• Here is the main point
• We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the
  right hand of the throne of the Majesty
• A Minister of the sanctuary and true tabernacle
  which the Lord erected.
• He had to have something to offer since priest
  are there for gifts and sacrifices.
• If He were on earth He wouldnt be a priest

• There are priests fulfilling that mission
• They serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly
  things.
• That tabernacle was built by Gods pattern
• But Now
• He has obtained a more excellent ministry
• Inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better
  covenant which was established on better promises.

THE NEW COVENANT

• Verses 7-13
• If the first had been faultless, no place would
  have been sought for the second
• But God found fault and promised a new covenant
  with Israel and Judah
• Not like the one made with their fathers
• Since they didnt obey that covenant
• In this covenant I will put My laws in their
  minds and in their hearts.

• I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
• There will be no need to teach a neighbor or
  brother to Know the Lord for all shall know Him
  from the least to the greatest.
• I will be merciful to their unrighteousness
• Their sins and lawless deed I will forget.
• A New Covenant demands that the first be obsolete
  and vanish away.
