Selected General Comments on Draft 2007 AQMP

• Outreach to the business community needs to be
  enhanced
• Concerns about the fair-share the District is
  assuming too much responsibility
• Uncertainty for future business growth decisions
  due to bump-up and the black box
• Funding issues will state and subvention be
  impacted by the plan
• How will the plan impact other environmental
  issues global warming AB32 or toxic deposition
  to waterways

Selected Comments on Proposed Control Measures

• MCS-01 - supportive use of tax credits and
  incentives (Moyer funding)
• - concerns additional costs, new
  permitting, possibly NSR
• EGM-01 - support for enhanced CEQA approach
  - strongly against any mitigation
  fees
• MOB-02 OFFRD-12 concerns about cost impact to
  small business
• District should take advantage of concurrent
  measures to control greenhouse gases and criteria
  pollutants, e.g. reduce reactivity for consumer
  products lower GHGs
