The Mining School Concept

• Train our own.
• High school upgrading made available through
  Confederation College and RLIFC
• Room and Board made available through Red Lake
  Indian Friendship Centre
• Underground classroom on 1300 level of the
  underground
• Fully equipped mining stope for trainees to
  practice mining techniques
• Trained by very skilled and experienced trainers
• Graduates receive the minimum of the Ontario
  Common Core Certificate

Status update / Where are we going from here?

• Graduated 23 persons to date
• Looking to expand the mining program with the
  addition of another trainer and a second mining
  area for practical training
• Partnered with Seven Generations to offer a
  pre-employment Electrical Apprenticeship training
  program
