Program Planning Management Services
  • Safety Security
  • Added a comprehensive Article 10 Protection of
    Persons and Property to the Contract Documents.

    Personnel, and Drug and Alcohol programs

Program Budgeting Cost Management
  • Prepared a program budget to account for project
    expenses.
  • Implemented a cost management program that will
    interface with the Owners cost reporting system.
  • Reconciled District's 2005 Bond expenditures from
    June 2005 to current.
  • Cross-referenced project encumbrances for
    accuracy.
  • Upon receipt of the over budget estimates, Jacobs
    researched the major portions of the projects
    with subcontractors to verify the prices being
    proposed were within reason.
  • Jacobs/GCCISD worked with the GCs to get cost
    savings.
  • Along with the Architect recommended that the
    existing proposals not be accepted due to the
    accelerated costs.
  • Facilitated numerous cost savings meetings with
    Owner, Architect and Contractor in an effort to
    bring project within budget.
  • Worked with Architect and Owner to offer cost
    savings suggestions that would be acceptable to
    the district.

    each Contractor.
