  • To understand the history of our country.
  • To guide ourselves to appreciate the value we
    can get from our country history that we can
    follow and avoid repeated the same mistake that
    we have done in the past.

CHRONOLOGY OF MALACCA SULTANATE
1400 Parameswara, prince of Palembang went to
Temasik (Singapore old name) after defeated by
Majapahit and opened Malacca. 1403 Laksamana
Yin Ching in his trading mission reached Malacca
and created trade and diplomatic relationship
with Malacca. 1409 Laksamana Cheng Ho, Chinas
chief of trade voyage and delegates arrived at
Malacca, to strengthen the relationship.

  • 1411 Parameswara and delegates accompanied by
    Laksamana Cheng Ho sailed to China to meet
    Chinas emperor, Yung Lo.
  • 1424 Son of Parameswara, Sri Maharaja
    enherited the throne and used Sultan Muhammad
    Shah title.
  • 1444 Sultan Muhammad Shah substituted by his
    youngest son, Raja Ibrahim but he was killed.
  • 1446 Raja Kassim enherited the throne and used
    Sultan Muzaffar Shah title and declared Malacca
    as an Islamic state.

  • 1447 Siamese at the first time attacked
    Malacca.
  • 1456 Tun Perak became the Bendahara.He worked
    with 4 sultans. He was the man behind the
    successful of Malacca in the Malay region.
  • 1458 Sultan Mansor Shah inherited the throne.
    Chinas emperor sent Laksamana Cheng Ho with
    Puteri Hang Li Po to marry with Sultan Mansor
    Shah.
  • 1477 Sultan Alauddin Riayat Shah enherited the
    throne at the age of 15.

  • 1488 - Sultan Alauddin Riayat Shah was poisoned
    and substituted by Sultan Mahmud Shah.
  • 1498 Tun Perak died.
  • 1500 Tun Mutakhir substituted Tun Perak.
  • 1509 Diego Lopez de Sequiera from Portugal
    armour arrived in Malacca. Because of
    misunderstood, they were attacked by Malacca.
  • 1511 Alfonso dAlbuquerque conquered Malacca at
    10 Ogos 1511 and built A Famosa.

    problem by ourselves.
  • We must always think about the ve and -ve
    before we make any decision.
