We have no time to lose. Troublous times are
before us. The world is stirred with the spirit
of war. Soon the scenes of trouble spoken of in
the prophecies will take place. The prophecy in
the eleventh of Daniel has nearly reached its
complete fulfilment. Much of the history that has
taken place in fulfilment of this prophecy will
be repeated. In the thirtieth verse a power is
spoken of that "shall be grieved, and return, and
have indignation against the holy covenant so
shall he do he shall even return, and have
intelligence with them that forsake the holy
covenant." Verses 31-36, quoted.

Scenes similar to those described in these words
will take place. We see evidence that Satan is
fast obtaining the control of human minds who
have not the fear of God before them. Let all
read and understand the prophecies of this book,
for we are now entering upon the time of trouble
spoken of Dan. 121-4, quoted.

LDE 113.1-2 On one occasion, when in New York
City, I was in the night season called upon to
behold buildings rising story after story toward
heaven. These buildings were warranted to be
fireproof, and they were erected to glorify their
owners and builders. The scene that next passed
before me was an alarm of fire. Men

fireproofbuildings and said "They are perfectly
safe." But these buildings were consumed as if
made of pitch. The fire engines could do nothing
to stay the destruction. The firemen were unable
to operate the engines.

and keep His Sabbath etc. This is what He did for
His people in the USA after the Papal persecution.

How does the Papacy conquer the USA?
When our nation shall so abjure the principles of
its government as to enact a Sunday law,
Protestantism will in this act join hands with
popery it will be nothing else than giving life
to the tyranny which has long been eagerly
watching its opportunity to spring again into
active despotism. Testimonies, vol. 5, p. 712. By
the decree (Sunday Law) of enforcing the
institution of the Papacy in violation of the law
of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully
from righteousness. ChS 160.3.

FLB pg 325.4-5 It is no time now to allow our
minds to be engrossed with things of minor
importance. The Sunday movement is now making its
way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the
true issue, and many who unite in the movement do
not themselves see whither the undercurrent is
tending. Its professions are mild and apparently
Christian, but when it shall speak it will reveal
the spirit of the dragon. It is our duty to do
all in our power to avert the threatened danger.
The time is coming when God's people will feel
the hand of persecution because they keep holy
the seventh day. The man of sin, who thought to

cause laws to be made enforcing the observance of
the first day of the week. But God's people are
to stand firm for Him. And the Lord will work in
their behalf, showing plainly that He is the God

The things you have described as taking place in
Indiana, the Lord has shown me would take place
JUST before the close of probation. Every uncouth
thing will be demonstrated. There will be
shouting, with drums, music, and dancing. The
senses of rational beings will become so confused
that they cannot be trusted to make right
decisions. A bedlam of noise shocks the senses
and perverts that which if conducted aright might
be a blessing. The powers of satanic agencies
blend with the din and noise to have a carnival,
and this is termed the Holy Spirit's working.
Those things which have been in the past will be
in the future. Satan will make music a snare

by the way in which it is conducted. Let us give
no place to strange exercisings, which really
take the mind away from the deep movings of the
Holy Spirit. God's work is ever characterized by

Many Shall be OVERTHROWN As the STORM
approaches, a large class who have professed
faith in the third angel's message, but have not
been sanctified through obedience to the truth,
abandon their position and join the ranks of the
opposition. By uniting with the world and
partaking of its spirit, they have come to view
matters in nearly the same light and when the
TEST is brought, they are prepared to choose the
easy, popular side. Men of talent and pleasing
address, who once rejoiced in the truth, employ
their powers to deceive and mislead souls. They
become the most bitter enemies of their

before the courts to answer for their faith,
these apostates are the most efficient agents of
Satan to misrepresent and accuse them, and by
false reports and insinuations to stir up the

Moab Ammon were of the generation of Lot who
was the nephew of Abraham.
Edom was of the generation of Esau.
This class represent those who once walked with
God e.g. Lots daughters committed fornication and
later became Idol worshippers. A study of the
history of Esau shows that his generation
eventually turned away from worshipping the TRUE
God.

The Word of God draws a dividing line between his
followers and the worldling. Over that line,
toward Egypt, is the life of self-indulgence,
fashion, frivolity, and the veriest slavery to

Why is it so hard to lead a self-denying, humble
life? Because professed Christians are not dead
to the world. It is easy living after we are
dead. But many are longing for the leeks and

The world (Egypt) shall NOT Escape?
God's word has given warning of the impending
danger let this be unheeded, and the Protestant
world will learn what the purposes of Rome really
are, only when it is too late to escape the
snare. She is silently growing into power. Her
doctrines are exerting their influence in
legislative halls, in the churches, and in the

Then does it not become everyone to understand
the reasons for our faith? In place of having so
many sermons, there should be a more close
searching of the Word of God, opening the
Scriptures text by text, and searching for the
strong evidences that sustain the fundamental
doctrines that have brought us where we now are,
upon the platform of eternal truth. My soul is
made

very sad to see how quickly some who have had
LIGHT and truth will accept the deceptions of
Satan, and be charmed with a spurious holiness.
When men turn away from the landmarks the Lord
has established that we may understand our
position as marked out in prophecy, they are
going they know not whither.
