Leather Travel Bag

• When this travel bag was found, it was filled
  with jewels, watches, coins and currency.
  Historians speculate the purser may have filled
  this bag with the contents of one of the safes,
  or perhaps a thief was looting the cabins as the
  ship was sinking. Leather survives very well at
  the wrecksite. A 3 stoned diamond ring was also
  found.

• This bell was recovered in 1987
• It was last rung by Frederick Fleet
• It was rung at 1140pm April 14 1912
• When an iceberg was spotted

Titanic

• This drawing by Ole Kolborg from Denmark was
  drawn originally for The Grapes pub in
  Southampton where some Titanic crewmen gathered
  prior to departure.

The Titanics wreck site

• The site is 450 nautical miles off the
  Newfoundland coastline
• The weather is good and free of hurricanes, and
  with a workable sea state between mid July and
  very early September

Deck Chair

• Reverend Henry W. Cunningham was the minister
  aboard the Minia during the body recovery and was
  given the deck chair in recognition of his work
  with burial and memorial services.
• One of his grandsons donated the chair to the
  museum.
• It bears a carved five-pointed star, the emblem
  of the White Star Line.
• This is one of the only intact chairs in the
  world that matches those visible in Titanic
  photographs.
