• Y él respondó Ah Señor, cómo libraré a Israel?
  He aquí que mi familia es la más pobre en
  Manasés, y yo el menor de la casa de mi padre.
• Pero el Señor le dijo Ciertamente yo estaré
  contigo, y derrotarás a Madián como a un solo
  hombre.

• The angel of the Lord said to Gideon, Go and
  deliver Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I
  not sent you?"
• He said to Him, "O Lord, how shall I deliver
  Israel? Behold, my family is the least in
  Manasseh, and I am the youngest in my father's
  house."
• But the Lord said to him, "Surely I will be with
  you, and you shall defeat Midian as one man."

  perish, I perish.

  enter, even though God promised victory.
• God responded You will die in the wilderness.
  This opportunity will pass to the next
  generation.
• Fear caused them to lose the opportunity God gave
  them.

  opportunity led to sin.
