    special report on renewable energy to follow
    completion of the 4th Assessment Report

    in SR REN scoping meeting

  • -4/2008 Scoping paper drafted and released
  • 4/2008 IPCCs 28th Session -- Future of the
    IPCC, scoping paper for a SR REN
  • 4-/2008 If panel decides to produce an SR REN,
    then a request for nominations of authors will be
    distributed (will include governments, IPIECA and
    other organizations)
  • 9/2008 IPCCs 29th Session -- Election of a new
    IPCC bureau

    author teams will be chosen by WG III Bureau,
