13Transnational Referral Process
- Protocol binds participants to terms, rules,
standards - Entire process occurs online
- including payment once e-commerce is in place
- In event of dispute, binding arbitration is used
14Referral Arbitration Process
- Request and response forms submitted by two
parties - ICREA appoints arbitrator from pre-approved pool
(each member association submits 3) - Arbitrator decides disposition after review of
initial documents and one rebuttal option - Penalty for noncompliance
- Reported to national association
- May result in termination of ICREA services
(individual/firm) - Individual/firm name published on Web site for 3
yrs.
