  • There jobs include
  • To develop grass roots sport
  • Promote excellence in sport
  • Give grants from the Lottery Sports Fund
  • To help bring International Sports events to

The Central Council for Physical Recreation (CCPR)
  • It is an umbrella organisation for over 270
    governing bodies and associations from all areas
    of sport and recreation.
  • It has six committees games/sports, major
    spectator sports, movement and dance, outdoor
    pursuits, water recreation, interested
    organisations.

  • To encourage participation
  • To represent and promote the interests of its
    members.
