Accelerated Block Scheduling

• Block scheduling is not a change in curriculum.
  It is just a change in the daily schedule.

Accelerated Block Scheduling Positives

• Students concentrate on only four subjects at a
  time for ninety minutes each.
• Students see the teacher every day which creates
  better rapport with students.

• Students get more content in one class period.
• Less start-up and shut-down time.
• The teacher sees 75-90 students a day versus
  150-180 students a day.
