What is the My Pyramid Plan? The My Pyramid Plan
offers an individual eating plan with the foods
from the food pyramid that are just right for
you! The online interactive tool allows you to
enter your weight, age, height, and the amount of
physical activity per week you complete. The
interactive tool than produces an individual
eating plan that tells you the amount of each
food group you need daily. This tool can be found
at http//www.mypyramid.gov/.
The My Pyramid Tracker! The my pyramid tracker
allows you to conduct a detailed assessment of
your food intake and physical activity level. The
My Pyramid Tracker also allows you to asses your
diet quality, physical activity status, related
nutrition messages, and links to nutrient
and physical activity information. There is also
a Food Calories/Energy Balance tool that
calculates your energy balance. This is
calculated by subtracting the energy you expend
from physical activity from your food
calories/energy intake. This will than help you
better understand your energy balance and also
the connection between good nutrition and
regular physical activity. The best thing about
my pyramid tracker is that you can take these
calculations and keep track of your energy
balance history for up to one year. What are you
