Shallow depth of field the picture in the
background is blurred and the wording in the
front is clearer. The woman in the background is
reaching out to the front indicating that could
there could be something wrong with her eyesight
and therefore she is reaching out linking to
the title of the film. The directors name is
written in a very small font at the top of the
poster in a sans serif font. The company that
produced in the film is written at the bottom of
the poster in the font that represents the
company. The colour theme of the poster is
white and different shades of blue linking to
hospitals/opticians.

A tagline has been put near the bottom of the
poster talking about vision and seeing, which
indicates certain aspects of the film. The
tagline also lets the viewer know when the film
is going to be realised.
The title of the movie is set out like an eye
test chart, which links very well to the film as
it about people losing their eyesight and going
blind.

The shot is a close-up and the actor is looking
down, which links well to the line at the bottom
which reads Hope is Blind. This could indicate
that he is successful but has gone blind and
therefore the hope in his life will be no more.
The actors name is written in sans serif font
and in capitals, towards the bottom of the poster
with the title of the film underneath, in a
silvery line by itself. The title of the film is
written in a contrasting colour to that of the
strip its in because this helps to make the title
stand out more. The actors name has probably been
written in a bigger font because viewers may
recognise him from different films and therefore
would be more drawn to him than the film,
therefore by seeing his name they would then want
to know what film he was in.

The colour of the actor is wearing is very dark,
which could possibly indicate that something in
his life, in the film, goes wrong and he is left
in despair over it. When comparing this poster to
the others it seems clearer that this could be
the case. Just like the other poster, at the
very bottom its lets the viewer know when the
film is due to come out as it reads Fall 2008
