Who is Mozart?
  • Mozart is a musician and pianist from Austria.
    Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 at Salzburg,
    Austria. He is baptised as Johannes Chrysostomus
    Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart, was a prolific and
    influential composer of the Classical era. Mozart
    showed prodigious ability from his earliest
    childhood. He died on December 5, 1791 at Vienna,
    Austria

He was the youngest of seven children, five of
whom died in infancy. His elder sister is Maria

How he started playing a musical instruments?
  • At the age of 3 years (1759) Mozart began to
    play clavier (ancient stringed musical instrument
    equipped with a keyboard). A year later
    he began to show his talent in
    changing his first melody.

  • In 1762 Mozart study by himself to play the
    violin. In the same year, Mozart and his sister,
    Maria Anna Mozart was invited to play music in
    front of the Empress Theresa in Vienna. Empress
    was amazed.

  • When Mozart has succeed changing a symphony in
    Paris, his mother died. Mozart grew up and he
    fell in love with the son of a musician, Aloysia
    Weber, but his father did not approve.

Finally he married Constanze Weber, sister of
Aloysia Weber, in 1782. Again Mozarts father,
Leopold, not blessing.

  • Mozart had two children named Karl Thomas and
    Franz Xaver. Mozart also teaches them to play the
    clavier and singing.

Ways to provide for his family
  • To support his family, Mozart wrote the opera.
    The most successful opera was The Marriage of
    Figaro in Vienna 1787. In the same year his
    father died.

Mozart Died
  • Mozart health is increasingly becoming
    unfavorable. He often fell ill, until on December
    5, 1791 he died at the age of 32 years. Mozart
    was buried in Marx Cemeteri ( 3 miles from
    Vienna). He died because lack of vitamins.
